Guilt Free 'logging
I'm joining the Blog Guilt Free Revolution.
Not everything in the BGF mission statement applies to me. For instance, I'd be surprised to discover there is one person out there reading this journal! Of course, I'm sure the dearth of fresh expatiation and overall shabby quality of this particular section* of the domain has a lot to do with the visitor scarcity... Let's face it, my other online journals — of which there are way too may, I freely admit — also suffer from my lax updating style. (Actually, the majority of my web undertakings pay the same price, but we're talking chronicles here.)
I often fret about the state of disarray. I make endless to-do lists that prominently feature domain and site-related items. Despite being self-imposed (on all counts), the guilt can be overwhelming.
But look! Someone has found a way to alleviate some of those feelings! This burden, the inability to keep up, isn't something I face alone; a whole community acknowledges the horror!
Thank you, Blog** Guilt Free People!
* Yes, what you see here at the top level of echoverse.org is merely a section of the "content." The various other projects aren't linked to in a reasonable fashion. Why? The current layout severely limits the navigation possibilities. Change the layout, you say? I know, I know! I'll get to it... eventually. ;)
** Though the term "blog" will now and forever rankle me, there isn't much I can do about its usage amongst other people. I'm fairly certain my complaints on this subject will never cease; me dealing with an irksome word equals others putting up with my wearisome rants on the matter. (Or not — free will and all that jazz.)
